Watch members of Springfield’s Community Remembrance Coalition, Springfield NAACP and representatives of Black Archives of Mid-America in Kansas City collect and archive soil from the 1906 lynching site of Horace Duncan, Fred Coker and Will Allen on Park Central Square. Duncan, Coker and Allen were among at least 60 African American victims of racial terror lynching in Missouri between 1877 and 1950.
