Join us as we celebrate MLK Day! Choose a day over the MLK weekend to visit at least two historic sites along the African American Heritage Trail.
Snap a selfie in front of at least two of the following sites or markers:
- Silver Springs Park – by Timmons Hall
- Lincoln Hall – on the OTC Campus
- Church Square South – behind Pitts Chapel
- Church Square North – behind Benton Ave. Church
- Park Central Square
If you spot a NAACP board member along the trail between the hours of 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., you will have the opportunity to receive a NAACP t-shirt or gift certificate to Coffee Ethic or Big Momma’s Coffee and Espresso Bar!
